Question by Gazhan: Double Standard? Men called studs while women called sluts for having sex?

Is it really men's faults or are women to blame for this double standard? Women are the ones that generally resorts to gossiping about someone rather than men. Men seem to have an easier time separating sex from emotions, while women don't.

Also, another possible theory for this double standard is that women don't have to work hard to get sex from a man. They could just walk into a bar and hook-up in a couple minutes. Men, on the other hand, do. This leads to women being called "easy" while men being considered "cool" for hooking-up with many partners.

Good point. For women to get with men, they need only ask, walk by us, look at us from across the room, or just be breathing, and you've got us. For men to get with women, we must be making a decent salary, not smell bad, but not smell too good either, be charming, be humble, sweep you off your feet, but let you stay firmly planted, beg, plead, and otherwise do whatever you wish of us. So, I would say that men might actually be the easy ones.
